Early Years
Steadfast early years offer high-quality early learning for children. Our program aims for the right mix of fun, structured learning, and physical activity. We focus on interest and play-based learning, where children explore, learn, and play in an inviting learning environment in which they feel a sense of belonging.
Steadfast Early Learning program helps children develop foundation literacy and numeracy skills and supports their social and emotional well-being preparing them for a successful transition to school.
Our Early Years curriculum is evidence-informed. This means you can count on your child getting the best early childhood education based on world-leading research, practices and techniques that engage their natural curiosity and provoke learning and development.
At Steadfast we prepare kids for reading with a multi-sensory approach, including language experiences and phonics. Art and Craft help kids cultivate their creativity, sharpen their ability to problem solve, strengthen their ability to focus, and develop kids’ fine motor skills. Music ignites all areas of child development including intellectual, social, language, listening skills, memory skills and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together.
Play is so important in the early years and is the way in which children organize and make sense of the world around them as they interact with people, objects, and each other. Play allows children to explore, discover, negotiate, create meaning and solve problems – important foundations for developing literacy, numeracy, and social skills. With our small groups, teachers can build personal relationships with each child, identifying the best way to encourage and inspire them on their educational journey. Our Early Years program is delivered by qualified and well-trained directresses and staff, who also continue to learn through ongoing professional development opportunities and training sessions provided by Steadfast International School.
